Do you enjoy financial tax? Have you ever tried to transfer to general tax and was it successful?

If your entire portfolio is less than 100k. It doesn't make sense to spend too much time following your investments. Buy some LT holds and work on making more money so that you are adding 100k in cash flow to investments every year. At some point your investments get big enough that an extra 10-20% is HUGE but until then your main worry should be your salary as it's the easiest thing to increase through doing well at work or doing side jobs.

If I see one more article on how millennials are ruining the economy or housing market by not buying enough homes or selling enough homes I'm going to scream. We were saving for 3 years before Covid and had to use a solid chunk to take care of ourselves and our families during quarantine. Now that we're ready to save again inflation and COL are at an all-time high and we're headed into a recession. And somehow this is my fault for what...not being a boomer? Bffr.

I don’t know exactly by how much and I’ve already contributed about $1,900 directly through my Roth IRA. Does anyone know if I can still do a backdoor Roth IRA for the remainder of the $6,000? Is there any way to avoid over-contributing to my Roth IRA by the amount I already put in there?
