Look into delivery options, and consider Whole Foods delivery on Monday nights to get salad ingredients like spinach, cooked salmon, walnuts, etc

Definitely bring your own meals — prep before you leave home and plan lunches and snacks. I frequently travel w fresh fruit ( oranges travel well) healthy snacks and lunches

Amazon delivery of healthy snacks to hotel, grocery for fresh fruit / solid lunches, ask for refrigerator and microwave in room, have self-discipline

Whole Foods doesn’t exist where I’m headed, and I’m worried about delivery options being unhealthy. It’s very typical Midwest nowhere

Where are you headed?

If you can’t food prep and travel with all of it (not easy, I know), stop at a large grocery store before making it to the client site. There will be somewhere with healthy fresh food for you to use throughout the week. Also, the idea of food delivery to your hotel or client site is a good one.

I’ve had this same situation before and I travelled with fresh fruit, dried fruit, and nuts. I’m vegetarian and eat light meals anyway so it was not very different from what I would choose to eat.

Suffering from crippling work related anxiety lately. Have always found this job stressful at times but with wfh the anxiety is constant and paralyzing and unbearable. I have regular panic attacks, question everything I do, feel like I’m never doing a good enough job and am really down on myself. Part of this I’m sure is that I live by myself and am alone with my thoughts all day, part is that I’m new to the manager role. Any coping strategies??

I recently accepted an offer at Wayfair start date 3/15. As soon as I accepted a dream job has now come up that is fully remote and is more inline with what I want to do (tech). What do I do? Should I push out my start date at Wayfair or do I just start with them on 3/15 and see if I get an offer at the tech company?

Been working on mostly (about 70%) public sector policy and strategy at Big 4 for most of my career. Often go up against MBB on RFPs and have a decent win rate. Would I be too senior to come in as a lateral hire? I guess it’s all about client networks at this level, and being government, it’s locationally dependent - so which markets have need?

Are there any firms out there that actually let you take all your PTO? I hate that we have to make up our PTO to meet utilization targets. Been on a capped 40-hour project for the last two years and it’s had a terrible effect on my utilization. Plus, any firms that don’t require more working for free (like all of our BS firm contributions here at D)?

Going to Cabo for NYE & debating between an Airbnb or staying at the Garza Blanca. Anyone ever stayed at an Airbnb in Cabo? Thoughts or tips? For example, curious whether there is public beach access or ability to get day resort passes? What about Garza Blanca? My SO and I are early 30s, no kids. Tons of reviews I’ve seen for the hotel have show families with little ones, which concerns me a little about the vibe. We enjoy good food and good drinks. Open to other recs too. Thanks in advance!
