New year, new points! Can I check in and check out of the same hotel in the same week in order to build up stays? Sounds ridiculous but I’m desperate for status

My husband’s mom has been organizing a big family trip for two months. I already excused myself from that trip. But I am very worried my husband my get covid from this trip. Because of the baby/covid we’re not too keen in traditional hotels and/or anything that offers higher risk. I’m also sure most hotels wouldn’t want a young baby at their establishment anyway. Any point experts know how to use the UR points to book a house (like on Airbnb or VRBO) but still max that 1.5x benefit for booking travel with UR? Driving distance from nyc

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Do any of you have the title “paralegal” but no paralegal certification? I do a lot of actual paralegal work but not sure if it would be looked down upon to use that as my title on LinkedIn/email signature.

Pretty sure the answer is self explanatory but first year with real status. Does Marriott status reset Jan 1? For instance if I need 10 nights for Platnium am I SOL if I stay 9 nights by Dec 31?
