Newbie here! I work for a non-profit. Which some of you know makes me the marketing department, creative team, PR rep, and so much more. I am very UNDER PAID. I’ve know this for a while but stuck it out because I am getting great experience, my co-workers are wonderful people, and most recently, the board of directors have decided to increase everyone’s pay…
My next evaluation (very soon) will reveal what they have decided. I was not asked what I think I should be paid. What should I be paid?
Too many variables for anyone to know based on that. What’s your pay now? What do you want?
Robert Half is releasing its annual Salary Guide tomorrow. You can search by job category and location to see the average pay rates in your area. The old 2022 version can still be accessed here: https://www.roberthalf.com/salary-guide
Nice timing, thanks for bringing it up!
Too many unknown factors makes it hard to give you a good estimate. Some factors to consider are your years of experience, your location, your current pay, and the last time you got a raise
More info: I work in central California and have been with the company for 2 years. I graduated with my BA in communications with an emphasis on multimedia production. This is my first marketing job.
