Hi ZSers,
Last week my onboarding formalities for ZS Associates like recent degree marks sheet, address, PF details etc and physical address verification for BGC was completed.
My joining is next week. What formalities can I expect this week ? Will I get the laptop before joining or after joining ?

I feel special.
Coinbase is probably the most newcomer-friendly platform.
Make an account for Coinbase Pro (significantly less fees, can deposit $ and buy immediately)
Other primary US based exchanges are Gemini and Kraken.
I would recommend sticking with the big 2 - Bitcoin and Ethereum, don’t worry about chasing gains in low market cap alt coins until you have some time under your belt in Bitcoin.
Expect a wild ride, with 20-30% swings (both up and down).
Buy in with regular amounts (eg, $100 per week / month), don’t try to time the market.
We are in a bull run right now. Anyone can feel like godmode by trading, but don’t let that fool you into thinking you’re special. Just buy and hold and be prepared for a 70% drop near Q4 of this year.
Thanks for the explanation! Makes a lot of sense.

Director 1 had a great advice (as did the others). I just wanted to stress that overtrading is the fastest way to give up gains. Highly recommend the buy and hold strategy.
if you set up buying bitcoin on cash app i believe they offer lower fees than Gemini, Coinbase etc.
also, best advice on purchasing would be set a fixed DCA (don’t need to buy daily but weekly, bi weekly, monthly, etc.) and that way you don’t have compulsive buys on the swings. also always buy the dip :)
