What are your thoughts on paying PMI on a mortgage? I’m looking to buy a house in a year or two that are $300k. I have about $80k in cash and don’t know if I should continue building up my cash reserves and put 20% down or push more to retirement. I’m currently at about 20% going to 401K/IRA, then get 6% profit sharing. I save 54% of my gross income on average.

One policy that has been hotly debated but I strongly disagree with (as a left leaning person) is student debt cancellation. My other liberal friends also disagree with this one. Some worked hard to pay off. Others decided to borrow from family instead of institution. I know the left is not on board with this as a mainstream agenda right now and it should stay that way.

Friend who works in Govt asked to borrow money until paychecks start coming again. Any chance they aren’t made whole after Govt opens?

1. Selling some stocks and clearing up powder to get the best deals
2. Holding what I have and DCA as always

I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
