Don’t worry stimulants are not physically addictive. It’s like stopping coffee.
Game changer - gave me a mental calm and clarity that I didn’t realize was how I should be feeling. I didn’t know my chaotic and overly anxious inner monologue was abnormal. It hasn’t necessarily fixed all of my productivity issues - I can focus on my phone for a really long time on meds. It also makes creative tasks a bit harder for me, so I don’t take it everyday. But it’s helped overall!
Agree that it's a game changer. I'm soo much happier now that I take compared to before. I've never really been worried about addiction, but you'll build a tolerance to it pretty quickly, and will have to keep upping your doses. Unfortunately for me, higher doses make my face break out and give me bad headaches. I've learned that if I take a 3-4 week long vacation from Adderall every few months, my tolerance resets. That way I can stay away from the higher doses.
My productivity generally continues during my 'vacation' month too - it almost feels like I have a residual Adderall effect that lasts just about that amount of time
If you can get by without, then you should. They are bad for the body and mind. And they absolutely are addictive & easy to abuse. Think about it, direct trigger to your dopamine/pleasure sensors = reinforcement of behavior = dependency or addiction.
don't worry about getting addicted. if it works, you will notice a difference in the first day.
