On paper you should take it. However, I think you could get 190K at a more reputable company than TCS, especially with 10 YOE.

Go for it! I’d just plan out your next jump.

Take it while you plan your next move and who is to say you will not find interesting work out there. Also, you have 2 kids, I would imagine that the extra pay will go a long way in taking care of your family. Congrats btw.

And make sure you are doing in-demand, industry leading work. Honestly the WITCH companies are so tech focused, that is probably a given, but good to double check.

Got an offer for a job that will start in February of 2022. I’m planning on giving my 2 weeks soon and taking a 2-3 month break before the next position starts to just relax and take some time off. I’m young now (mid 20s) and I don’t think I’ll get a chance to take several months off between jobs again after this. Will this gap in employment be a potential issue down the road? I may be thinking too much into this, but would like some advice. TIA
