Idk how to answer your question because I'm an analyst. But I will say that if you're a new manager remember to be nice to your subordinates and they will be happier and work harder for you
Softer skills are definitely part of the training: establishing a cadence with your team, assessments, feedback etc. Beyond that training can include staffing, accounting for project margin and managing P/L budget items (in conjunction with your director or principal). The human component is really 50% of it. The analyst above is not too far off :)
Hey KPMG US original poster - I've been asked to help draft new manager training for strategy practice. Should we know each other / work together? Am based in NYC office.
I'm out of NYC too! Um... Is there a way to private message in this tool?
Don't think so... I sit at 10u05d AoA. Stop by? If at 345 then call me on x77468?
