I have an H1b which I received in 2019 and was valid till august2021, due to covid I wasn't able to travel and then I switched to another firm last year in November. If I get visa transfer, will it provide me a validity back as I haven't used any on site time on that visa.

I love my boyfriend very much and have been trying to get a job in his country so we can be together. However, I met him because I was a nomad during Covid and I worry settling down in one spot will make me unhappy. I feel I have to choose the nomadic life or being with him and I feel so stuck.

I’m definitely not the only one with sentiment for this statement: 2020 was a year of loss. Our design team was reduced by 75%; when I signed on there were 20 designers and now there are 3! Hi ladies! We started this bowl because a few of us recently took new positions in the midst of COVID and are struggling with WFH. Here’s my story, please share yours! Just moved to a new country and joined a big local firm as a junior. I am a chronic procrastinator and I think it’s because I have low self-confidence, esp. with my writing style. Accountability is key to my productivity, and unless I’m micromanaged, I struggle to self-discipline. Will be sharing resources and tips in next post!
