Nice "professional" looking backpack recommendations? Tired of looking like a college student but don't like carrying one shoulder bags.

No. Disregard anyone who says a backpack can ever look professional - they are wrong. Backpacks on any grown man make them look like they still live with their mother and probably wear white gym socks with their dress shoes.

There are many companies that make nice leather or waxed canvas men's briefcases/dufflebags that won't make you look like you are attempting to use your dads old briefcase from the 80s and 90s. Do some google searching and see what you can find. They are a bit more expensive, but you will look like you have yourself put together. And please, pretty please, don't get a black nylon laptop briefcase.

If you're going to spend the money for Tumi why not invest in a normal briefcase bag that you can keep forever that won't make you look like a man child? I feel like I'm arguing with roller backpack kids.

Oh please... tumi backpacks are beautiful and professional. do yourself a favor get a tumi backback. It's easy on your shoulders, functional, and looks good. I wear one and don't regret it

If you wear a backpack and dress business casual or professional you look ridiculous

Briefcases do look more professional tho. But so does dressing in a suit. No way I'm gonna do that.

Backpacks are not a good look. It makes you look like you got lost on the way to your first day of work. Seeing grown men wear them is hilarious

Maybe you're the one that looks like a man child when wearing a backpack. I look like a glorious stallion running across a field of dreams

Tumi!!! $400 but worth every penny. Plus it comes with a tracker so if it ever gets lost you can type in the code you registered the bag with and locate it

Looking for tips. College was not for me while I was young. Since then I have built a great track record at my previous job in sales, succeeded in a project manager internship, and have exceeded at the role for a year now. Unfortunately, I do not like the direction the company is headed in and want to move on. I have gazed at new companies but the lack of “education” seems to be a reoccurring obstacle. Being in the bay area competition for these roles can be a bit tough. Any tips or tricks?

Would you take a role that was lateral, semi step down, career wise if it had more pay and WLB? Most of me is okay with the idea I’ve just never done it before so it’s a little unsettling as I contemplate my move.
