Anyone ever been blacklisted by a firm but can’t prove it? I found out an ex girlfriends best friend is high up at a National firm in tax and I swear, each time I talk to them the tax recruiters are extremely interested and then I get ghosted. I finally realized today that she’s there

There's a lady at work who's probably very smart and good at her job but i feel like she's so dumb sometimes because she always has ideas about how we can reduce our workload by moving it to another team offshore which is obviously great for the company because they have to pay less money for that work but it could mean that our jobs become redundant eventually. Our company has had these sort of transformations in the past and i just don't understand how she doesn't see this

Hi,

I got 2 offers one from HCL and another from LTIMindtree. I want to join HCL but they are yet to release offer letter but has given confirmation over mail.

For LTIMindtree I have received the offer letter and yet to accept the same, but they are soon staring background verification for onboarding as soon as I accept the offer letter.

In this case what to do pls suggest.

I keep getting contract offers on LinkedIn (think self-employed consultant). The rates seem really good ($120-$150/hr). I have around 5 years exp and a CISSP. I’m highly considering leaving big4 to become a contractor/self-employed consultant. From a risk perspective I’m young and have no kids and low debt.
Anyone did it? Any feedback?

Hi Bowlers,

Had a few job offers on the table from CPG and Tech (non-FAANG) companies for Senior Analyst type roles.

Without negotiating it seems like Tech pays more, is that true? Or can I still negotiate more with CPG companies?

Thanks,

Hello,
I graduated in June with a dual BSBA in healthcare management and human resources management/organizational management and two associates degrees in business and arts. I have twelve years of experience as a certified clinical medical assistant.

I'm having trouble finding my first job as a healthcare manager. After submitting many applications and receiving so many rejection emails, I've become frustrated. Any advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

I'm not actively looking but would like to activate the option on LinkedIn that lets recruiters know that I am open to opportunities when/if I come up on their searches.
