When you immediately start looking for a job after your promotion and raise... For more money....
Got an unexpected and significant raise. No formal notification anywhere, except my paycheck. Had to confirm with HR and it's true. 🤑
Stupid question: does anyone know when titles change on Outlook/Lync after promotion effective date?
For Accenture tech consulting, how typical is it to go from analyst to senior analyst after one year? What's the usual timeline for promotion and chargeability?
The average age in my division is 49. All my managers and seniors are in their mid 50s. It's myself and 4 other people under the age of 30. Flu season = potential promotion time.
Financial services Senior tax associate at a mid sized national firm in NY. I will have 7 months with the firm come fiscal year end. What do you all think is an acceptable bonus/raise?
I am caught in the middle of a feud between two directors (as a manager up for promotion this year) please advise on how to deal with this. I've been lucky that this is my first situation like this
My roommate and some friends work at a software company and this week every person in the company got a 20% raise. Did I mention they also get $1000 toward rent each month? 🙄
I'm up for a promo, EA to SA. Currently making 80k base. What would you expect a promotion raise to be? Given the pay band shift and new cohorts?

What's more common for you? 1. using network to get on a project you really like. 2. HR staffs you on something without any prior communication.
Has anyone backed into something with a rental car? I want to pay out of pocket so it doesn't hike up my insurance.
Looks like a massive Exodus happened in Deloitte? Trying to staff a project and there is literally no one to staff with (at least Salesforce practice) and we are having to reach out to contractors. Is this a result of layoffs that happened last year and folks are purely unhappy with pay (not considering project pressure as that can vary/be subjective)? For folks who have been here for a long time, is this a common occurrence or is it especially bad this time around?
If you had a choice of M&A type work or pure strategy type work which one would you choose and why?
