I’ve been pretty active in HR for over a decade even though I’ll be graduating here in May 22. I’ve been blessed with many opportunities along the way. Is there a META or other FAANG employee in the HR space willing to refer me to a Recruiting position? I’m willing to even interview with you and give you my experience.I have an appbut it’s been sitting for a while. I also attended Facebook (Meta) undergrad recruiting webinar but it was more SWE driven. Facebook (Meta) Microsoft Apple Tesla

Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

Sounds like they are doing the right thing
Does he actually DO the work? If so, who cares if he carries the big monitor around?
You sound like a miserable person to be around. Quit your kvetching.
Maybe the attitudes of people at the agency is exhausting and they want to get their work done in peace
Clearly you’re an extrovert with no empathy for introverts.
Hey. Be nicer.
“Doesn’t sit right” haha what on earth do you think he’s doing wrong?

Why does it matter why he works from home? And how do you know he isn't sick but just isn't telling anyone?
Why do you have to be sick or have an excuse to work from home? WTF is wrong with people
Just because he didn’t share his reason with you doesn’t mean there isn’t one. His reason could be to get as far from you as possible. But that would be pure speculation on my part.
Let him get in his zone. Stay in yours. All will be good
Ha let’s not get started on what some of my colleagues get away with but, if the company supplied it to him then he can do that.
Sometimes when I am not physically sick but mentally not there, I decide to work from home. I get my stuff done so what's the problem? I feel you AD with the heavy monitor 👋 that's some heavy dedication right there.
Working from a laptop is annoying... but taking your monitor home is crazy! If it was me, I’d just buy one. As long as the work is done and not falling on anyone else, then lug away.
Do other people take them home? Serious question.
CD2 - barely. Deadlines are missed and I just don’t see the reason behind hauling it around, but apparently that’s just me
Taking your monitor home: WEIRD.
Working from home: NOT WEIRD.
Who cares as long as you get the work done? Also, a change of scenery sometimes helps with coming up with ideas.
@OP your AD should just buy a monitor for home. There are a ton of 4K monitors out there that are much cheaper and less antiquated than the Apple monitor.
