In tech, the well known but not MAANG startups (ie. The Ubers, lyfts, Doordashes, Snaps, etc) pay top of market. Had an interview with doordash, associate manager base was getting to around 150k base, SM should be around your ask. Lyft also pays very well (equity heavy, but SM should be around 200k base I think). Not super sure how they’d change for a LCOL place but many of these are also going remote
Hm weird. I knew Uber lowballed (got an offer at sr associate level), thought it’d get better at the sr mgr level. Interviewed for associate mgr at doordash and was quoted on the higher end as 145k base (asked out of curiosity and it sounded like you’d get close to 200k at sr mgr levels). I thought snap was paying well rip and I know lyft pays well gives lots of equity (plus they post most ranges on their postings. Maybe it’s only software where they load you up with money 😭
Cap put me at 160k base at M with 4 YOE. M tops out at 200k ish. I’d imagine SM would start in that range. MCOL options include Richmond, Plano, Atlanta.
Manager, Product Management

Just got offer at 210K base for SM at Palo Alto networks (remote)
210K for SM actually kind of low in range. What team is this on?
It’s not MAANG anymore, ever since Netflix took a dive, it’s called MAGA 🇺🇸
Oh faaang became Maang. Thanks D3
What area of the business?
Tech, tech strategy & execution
I’m also interested to see the answer to this. I’ve seen it for scrum masters and PMs for companies ranging from T-mobile to BMW paying that in the NY/NJ area. And of course, the crown jewel of exit strategies, Chick-Fil-A!
It’s also super competitive to get a CFA franchise. My friend’s dad got one and he had a ridiculously loaded resume and was effectively already retired semi-early.

Doordash for sure I make in that range and am not a SM
Cvs - I’m personally in that range as a SM
