Coming with 8 years of international sales, account management & shopper marketing experience, I’m getting Retail Associate/Sales Associate offers by CPG companies with as low as $18/hr and $0.46 per km fuel.

While I think it’s a great opportunity to learn about the Canadian market as a new resident, it would break my bank and I would have to buy the car for this roles while living in Midtown Toronto. It doesn’t make financial sense to me.

I had a tenant start a 1 yr lease on March 1. They already are interested in renewing for another year. Would you raise rent? I'm inclined to leave it the same because we're both taking a risk that at the end of the year rents could be up or rents could be down. They are good tenants and take good care of the property. Fwiw I net about $1,000/month positive cash flow after mortgage/taxes/insurance/how/reserve as is.
