Funny you say that. I went in to do exactly that. Kept getting offers from outside for more money. So finally on the third offer I went in and told my boss that I love it here but can’t keep denying myself more money. He took it up to the CEO. (But before taking it in he kinda negotiated to offer half the match and nothing else). The CEO is an awesome, forward thinking and fair woman that supports other women. She saw the problem with 8 GCDs all white. She came close to matching the offer number (I didn’t mind the bit of a cut) and put in the title.
