Don't stay in a job where you are unhappy, it just prolongs the situation. Plus, you never know how long it could take to get pregnant.
I got a new job while pregnant and it was a great move for me. Just ask about maternity/family leave policies during the interview process. Some companies have tenure requirements to be eligible and some don't, but you won't know if you don't ask!
Keep in mind most companies or firms require a year of service to be eligible for maternity leave. Typically there are other options, but they’re not as good as the maternity leave. I joined the firm not knowing I was pregnant, so by the time I gave birth I had less than a year of service. Since I wasn’t eligible for maternity leave I used the parental leave offered at the firm, and then 12 weeks of family leave through the state.
But your happiness is most important. Less stress will make conception easier, and your pregnancy more enjoyable.
Here's the thing...my sister and I, a year apart (31 and 32) perfectly healthy. As soon as she started trying she was pregnant within the first 2 months. For me, it took a whole calendar year. And according to my doctor, both are perfectly normal.
Nothing is going to be timed perfectly. If your job is making you miserable now, look for something new now. You'll figure out the rest!

Agreed with the above comment. Also will help to have a good amount of savings on deck to rely on in case you decide you just want the time off with max flexibility.
I ended up getting a job while pregnant - I was deeply unhappy in my role and needed to leave. Maternity was talked about on my new companies website and you can look up stuff on glass door
Definitely don’t stay if you’re unhappy because you don’t want to be stressed while pregnant and end up losing the baby. Take care of you first! My husband and I started trying and got pregnant within a month (which we weren’t expecting) and just happened to be during busy season. It was difficult, but I ended up telling my team and everyone was very accommodating. I suggest start looking and find a new job now. The right team/company will accommodate you when the time comes.
