Not currently pregnant but hoping for some insight and advise. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, but I’m really frustrated in my position and may start job hunting within 6-12 months. Hopefully I will be pregnant by then. Has anyone here experienced job hunting while pregnant or just post baby? I’m concerned about maternity leave and if I should just suck it up until I have a kid.

I had an interview where the interviewer was acting extremely weird-almost as if she was trying to deter me from wanting the position. I shared about it in another bowl and many people suggested reaching out to the recruiter. After a lot of anxiety and overthinking, I reached out. I reiterated my interest and specifically said the interview was bad in my opinion. What are your thoughts?? Will I just be ghosted?

I feel so lucky after divorcing 3 years ago. My ex was a spender and didn’t believe he ever needed to save for retirement. At 34 he had saved $0. I had to fight to convince him that I would add money into my 401k. We divorced and I had 90k in my retirement accounts while in my early 30s. 3 years later it’s now at 202k. I had talent specialist who works with a company find me on LinkedIn saying my profile looked like a good fit for an open role. Wouldn’t they have a number of applicants for this? It is a larger company say 1000 people. The conversation with her went really well and I’ve met with the hiring manager and one other person yesterday waiting to hear. But my question is, why would they need to reach out to people who haven’t applied for the role?

Are women here having issues finding appointments for initial prenatal visit? The first appointment I got will be at 11 weeks that too I was lucky because I had already scheduled with the doc for some other Obgyn issue back in July and they converted it to a prenatal appt. If I did not have that, I would have not got anything for the first trim. The other docs in the clinic also did not have appts. This sounds very risky. Heard from someone in Texas she did not get an appt until 16 weeks

I’m six weeks and have either a yeast infection or UTI (been awhile since I had either and symptoms since last night can go either way).
