I work in insurance defense and we are getting slammed as far as workload and have been for some time. It’s nice because I haven’t had to beg for billable work and always hit my goals. My question is whether this has been the norm at other insurance defense firms. My other question is how other states are dealing with COVID restrictions on jury trials. Has anyone tried anything during the pandemic?

Hello All. I am a recent licensed attorney in NY and AZ. A former judge from Albania. I hold a JD from ASU. Unfortunately, being only focused on trademark associate positions, I have not landed my first year associate job. Actually working in house as a trademark paralegal. Do you remember how did you get your first job as a trademark attorney? Where is a good place I should send my resume in AZ, NY, or for remote? New in the States and I do not have such network! Thanks

Can anyone concur the following, working on multimedia editor (Video) (4-6 YOE) requisition: 1. The average rate for freelancer - ₹700-1200 per hour 2. The average compensation package for a full time editor: 7-9 LPA Grateful for any inputs.

How to prep (and what to expect) for an interview on Excel, SQL and R? I have a final round coming up which includes 30 minutes assessing my “technical skills” which the recruiter implied would be the skills listed on my resume (these 3 were also listed in the job description). FWIW I listed my R skills as “basic” since all I’ve ever done is a short online course, and for SQL I’m fairly comfortable with your standard queries (JOIN, WHERE, ORDER BY, etc.). This is for a strategy role.

Currently a second-year associate at a regional firm. I have become really unhappy with the life-style at a firm and the constant stress of meeting my billable requirements. It was always my goal to go in-house, but I know I likely lack the requisite experience to make a move somewhere that can offer meaningful advancement. Any advice? I know it will likely be that I need to “stick it out” for a few more years, but I am just extremely dissatisfied with the prospect of being at a firm for years.
