Both me and my wife maxed out company match on 401K but are below the annual limit. What are our options now to take full advantage of the annual limit? Neither of us qualify for Roth IRA.

1) Do a back door conversion (IRA to Roth IRA)
2) if you have one paycheck left for 2022, put 100% of it towards your 401k

I have a NRI home loan through ICICI bank and I realized today (mar 6th) that my emi money was in a different account and the auto pay account didn’t have sufficed balance(auto pay is for mar 5) I immediately transferred money to the emi auto pay account and haven’t heard from the bank about any late payment etc but was wondering if there is usually a grace period or something before it’s considered a ‘missed EMI’? How do you know when to up the dose on your meds? Currently on 40 mg Vyvanse. I usually get the peak euphoria feeling (super alert) about 1 hour after i take my meds and it lasts for a couple of hours. I work late but have noticed that i spend too much time staring at the screen and keep jumping between tasks. Would upping the dose help me concentrate on one task at a time? If not how do you manage this? What tips would you have to prevent the constant back and forth between tasks? TIA

I have a LOT of credit card debt. It has just grown over time and I can’t find my way out. I’m considering debt consolidation, specifically a company called National Debt Relief which seems legit but I’m just so hesitant because I’m scared to make my situation worse. Or a personal loan to pay off all the CC debt and then have a smaller all in one payment. I’m intelligent and I work in finance, it’s so embarrassing. HELP.

Has anyone had any experience with debt collectors? I was sent a letter from a company called convergent claiming they are acting on behalf of a creditor (a bank) that I’ve no interaction with. They are saying they’ll accept 50% of the amount due but there’s no mention of what the debt is. I’m assuming this is a scam but wanted to check with fish here. I have no idea how the letter got sent to me as the address is used only for my Amex cards as I don’t live in the US anymore

New 🐟 here! Currently make $150k, wife makes $50k. I’m an immigrant and came to the US with almost no money. Wife is a citizen but grew up poor. 15% goes to debt payments.

I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could. Any suggestions how to handle the credit card debt without racking up tons of ongoing card interest?
