Renters/homeowners/earthquake insurance ?: I’m reviewing my renewal policy docs for my renters and earthquake policies (im in Los Angeles). I’m 32F 🐠 single no kids. I own enough stuff to fill a 2 bedroom apartment if one room were an office/misc storage stuff. Currently am in a 4bd/4bath town house with 2 roommates. I’ve had these policies for 10+ years but truthfully haven’t read or paid much attention to limits or terms in the past (I also didn’t own much for most of that time).
BTA at Deloitte vs Strategy at ZS? Associate level interested in healthcare/health tech but not really life sciences. ZS culture seems like a better fit + pay is more competitive (around 15k more), but wondering if I should go with Deloitte for project opportunities more aligned to my interests. Any advice/insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What are your thoughts on the new SEC BIC ruling and who will be most affected wire houses or insurance BD’s?
As someone who has struggled with the side effects of birth control for as long as I’ve been on it, I finally hit a breaking point this week and asked my husband to consider getting a vasectomy. He was like “omg what about the pain/it’s an invasive procedure/it impacts my health/what if it’s uncomfortable” but finally agreed to think about it. Is it wrong to be annoyed that he expects me to take hormonal Bc even though it fucks me up and doesn’t see the irony in his own concerns? Or to even ask?
I’m a tech guy so not as knowledgeable about investments, etc. My advisor is trying to convince me to start a term-life insurance policy, to be used for retirement. I’m 26. Is this a good idea?
Which health insurance plan do you recommend for pregnancy and maternity care? Looking for switching during current open enrollment . From the Deloitte sponsored plans, narrowed down to these 3 - Anthem Bluecard PPO, Aetna Select, UHC PPO. I am currently enrolled for Anthem Bluecard PPO and looking for other best options, if any. Also, if I get pregnant in December and switch to any other from Jan, will that works or the new insurance provider might raise a concern to cover the expenses? TIA!
ate too much in the past six months because of the dinner budget hahaha. any organic ways/less health impacting cheat ways to lose fat?

Health question, not sure if this is the right place to ask - Getting a headache at the top of my head when I stand up. I’m not dehydrated but I recently started drinking coffee and was vomiting this weekend after getting a booster shot, could it be related? Any tips on fixing it?
Did anyone change to low deductible health insurance right before getting pregnant? My husband just changed jobs and is going on my insurance. We think we might be pregnant but it’s too early to tell. Wondering if a low deductible plan is a smart idea. I have high deductible on my own right now. 🐣
Has a job ever affected your health? I mean, really and truly affected your health; not just lack of sleep or intermittent stress. What happened? Did you leave? Did you stay and manage it? Are you healthy again?
Deloitte fish, which medical insurance plan is better? I’m looking at AETNA and UHG PPO. Comparing only these two. If anyone can explain the details and benefits, it’d be great.
I have the chance to convert 170,000 Marriott points to cash at their "going rate" of .8 cents to be $1360. Would you do it? My question effectively is, if I have time and location flexibility, is it likely I could find a sweet deal to get more than that amount of value from those points?
I’m fully remote for 2 years now. More productive than ever. Present for my family like never before. Have met more people from my company than I would’ve if I’d rely only on bumping into them. Have a much more focused, open and dynamic creative process with my teams. My company doubled size. Why would anyone consider going to a physical place to do work that’s delivered digitally ever again, even if for a day per year?
Ladies, have any of you made the jump from big 4 manager to mid-tier firm and not regret it? I feel like my optuons in industry in my city are not ideal and wouldn't offer the same flexibility as PA. At the same time, the culture in my office has become too toxic and don't feel like my contributions matter at all. Also, not to mention the lack of business case.
Currently recruiting for a trucking company. I have been told a few times that my experience there for the last year isn't what companies want to hire for a professional recruiter... How can I better market myself and show that I can learn regardless of who I am currently recruiting???
So real talk, what's the culture like at GUT? Are the people nice? Mentorship happening? How much of Miami would I actually be able to enjoy?

Getting close to retirement (~2 years) and am wary of a double dip recession in the next 6-12 months. I have enough to retire now, and want to move my 401k into less risky funds that will have a lower downside potential - what should I consider? My top choice is FXNAX (Fidelity US Bond Index), or maybe a money market fund - but I'm not too saavy with this stuff. Any help would be appreciated!
Is there racism in EY & Deloitte against minorities? Any experiences? I’m thinking of leaving PwC strictly for this reason. Any suggestions where can I apply for a better culture?
Anyone with United 1k in jeopardy of not meeting the lowered “move the goalpost” PQP targets? Is there a December promotion or do you think United will pivot to extend status to 2023 in the final hour? Ugh, I don’t want lose 1k but can’t justify ~$5,000 in out of pocket expenses / mileage run. Anyone in the same boat?
I have an interview for a business lending analyst position. What are the key responsibilities for this role? Tips for the interview and salary range?
How does NYC/Boston PE placement from Tuck compare to Booth/Kellogg (w/ pre-mba PE exp.)? I plan to apply to all 3 but plan to live in NYC/Bos post-mba and, despite the rankings, would prefer to go to Tuck if I am lucky enough to get into 2-3 of these schools

Need advice: Moved to a new company and have been working there for five months. I like my team and pay, but wlb is bad. One of my former bosses, just reached out to me about moving to his company. Pay would be the same, but better hours and the role would be more interesting. What would you do? Does it look bad to leave a company after 5-6 months?
