What are your thoughts on 100% remote opportunities for CD?
I am currently CD Director at a major consulting firm working 100% remote (Europe) but am planning to transition into a CD role at one of the large software companies (Microsoft, Amazon, Autodesk, Ansys, Dassault Systemes, PTC, Siemens). I noticed that most CD teams are based out of a single city (generally HQ location).
Do you believe it's possible for those companies to hire remote talent worldwide? If not, why?
Bleed blue even if our team didn't 🇮🇳

Just went through the same thing. Ended up buying at 650 fill one from Costco for just over 100 bucks, king size. It is fantastic, no problem sleeping with the windows open in colorado

If you live in NYC/LA Frette and Sferra have sample sales where they sell their bedding / down comforters for 60% off.
Make sure it’s overstock and not made for outlet lines!
I have an artificial down comforter from CB2 that I'm pretty happy with.

don’t sleep on ikea (i sleep w ikea comforter; they have several different fill selections). i think it was like $60 for a queen.
Pacific Coast down comforter - got it at Costco. Sleeps like a dream. Whatever you do, don’t make the mistake of buying “alternative down” - it’s not the same.
You can also also get some nice bedding at LL Bean or Brooklinen.
I would just go for it. It will last for years and will make getting into bed more enjoyable. Think of it as en early Christmas present.
Buffy for sure —- we have 2 weights and love them
