Worked on one project a year ago that was really niche and now I’m being touted as an expert and being asked to support another engagement. It’s kinda similar but not really. How to handle.... (I am absolutely not an expert)

Was hired on and told I would be on a certain project, got my info and instead find that I've been pigeonholed back into the type of work I came to new job to get away from. Any tips?

I'm getting a good feeling about a potential offer for a FT role at Deloitte (I'm currently contracting with a different team). Have had 2 interviews with ~2 more to go that are probably "gut checks." It's a new role (internal not client facing) they want to fill ASAP. The hitch is I'm expecting in late Feb. When is the right time to disclose this? When/if I get a formal offer? I feel like I'm being shady not saying anything during the interviews even though I know I shouldn't/don't have to.

After how many days of joining are you usually placed in project?

Second year in audit. Any tips for essentially doing an audit by yourself? I am scheduled on our YE while the rest of my team is staffed elsewhere for about another month. Worried I’m not doing enough and the client is not the best about getting PBCs out timely with the deadlines we give them.

The client billing is not an allowance. It is fixed addition for working in a managerial role for them.
