How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

I've always thought it shows a lack of respect for others, clearly valuing what you are doing over the well being of the group.
Like always showing up late. You clearly value your time more than mine, I don't appreciate that habit.
Examples: Speaking excessively loud (almost yelling and laughing) in generally quiet places; Spitting on the train station (gross); Blocking the subway/elevator entrance (and being generally unaware of the flow of others' movement); and finally- ignoring a moment of silence in a very public and provocative way. Every instance has usually been met with "it's part of their culture to ___. Just ignore it." You're literally saying it's part of their culture to be assholes!
"Nothing is burdensome if taken lightly , and nothing need arouse ones irritation so long as one doesn't make it bigger than it is. " Seneca letters from a stoic.
Not sure all these irritants constitute the extreme people labelling as "assholes" . Rather it is poor social etiquette, and cultural intelligence quotient (CQ). You want to address it, start by how you frame the problem.
