Not sure if this the current bowl but how do you maintain your credit score if you don’t use your credit card for 1.5 years(moving out of states on secondment)

I have 5 years, no missed payments, just 1 credit card, utilization is below 10% since last 2 years and FICO shows 792.

I'm no credit score expert but wouldn't your credit card still be active and reporting available credit with no late payments? If you want to make sure your card stays active you could set up a $5 recurring Amazon gift card purchase (or whatever) and have it automatically paid monthly from your bank account. Alternative you could pay for a streaming service you can access from your temporary home.

Industry Advice: I am currently in a Commercial P&C CSR broker position working with manufacturing and staffing clients. I am working towards a promotion within my same team in the near future but an Account Manager position has opened up now in the construction space within our office. Yale SOM (no $) or Johnson with a full ride? Goal is consulting (not MBB or bust but MBB is the target) in New York City. Will have to take out nearly full tuition loan for Yale. Concerned about Johnson’s strength in consulting placement even for T2; seems to have mixed reviews. Could also reapply this fall and add Tuck and Kellogg to the mix but unsure if it’s worth the risk as this fall may be very competitive.

How soon is too soon to quit a job? I took what seemed like a great offer, with competitive pay, a hybrid schedule, and 15% travel. However, I’m about 1.5 months in and the job is miserable. I’m working 50 hour weeks with no breaks to keep up with the demand, there is minimal training or support, I can’t work hybrid yet, I get 24/7 phone calls, and they’ve asked me to travel once a month for the remainder of the year. At this point, I’m only staying for fear of how it will look on my resume.
