Not sure what’s worse.

It’s either my unbridled disdain for my R/GA colleagues who have left for jobs at Meta, a company that is the worst thing to happen to civilization since the atom bomb.

Or it’s secretly knowing that if Meta offered me a gig that paid like +80k more and reimbursed my phone bill, I’d accept.

on a side note, crying at work has gotten wayyyy easier.

I was affected by layoffs about a month ago and urgently looking for a good immigration lawyer. The lawyer should be experienced in handling this 60 day grace period situation and developing alternate strategies - such as change of status to B1/B2 or applying to jobs from India. There is a lot of noise and wrong information going in the market so looking for good recommendations.

How bad does it look to deny work from your boss for clients that you're not scoped for? The issue isn't the extra work, I don't mind doing it. I'm just not really seeing a personal benefit from it.

When resigning, do you have to disclose the name of your next employer?

I can’t find any language stating I have to in my handbook and I work for a large network. I don’t have a senior role and not going to a direct competitor. Am leaving a toxic team and am worried my manager will ask, or say something like we need to know you’re not going to someone we think is a competitor.

We should be able to call out sexist, racist, and homophobic senior "leaders" by name.
