I keep a scan of my license on my phone.

I’m telling you with a slim card holder phone case you can keep your ID with you :)

Apple Pay still blows my mind even though I’ve been using it for a while now.

I have quite a few cards stored on my iPhone, but have never found a way to stop carrying around my keys

Very possible. You also don’t need to digitize everything to eliminate your wallet. I have a very slim phone case with a card holder in the back. I keep a credit card and my ID there. I can run all of my errands and do almost everything I need to do outside of the house with only my phone in this case.

Thanks a lot - that’s a neat idea

Oh, I do still need my keys. I just put those in my pocket

😀

Where are you from?

I am living now in Palo Alto

Some US hotels have digital keys, so I’m sure there are digital keys for homes somewhere 🤔

I have a digital pad to enter my home. I no longer carry house keys, and my car can be started by my phone, so I don't need that either, although I do have to keep the key fob handy.

It depends on where in the US you are. Big cities? There's a good chance. Small towns? You might need a card, or even cash.

Credit cards and all it is totally possible through things like Apple Pay. Your ID though is a different story--for things like traffic stops or TSA I'm pretty sure you need the physical ID. They have holo watermarks to validate authenticity

Pretty doable.

I’m having a hard time staying motivated lately. Really apathetic about everything. Feels like I’m falling into a bad depressive slump. I’m getting more and more behind on work because I just can’t sustain focus for longer than a couple hours at a time. There’s no one to shift my workload to, and as much as the legal industry talks about lawyer mental health, it’s still a taboo topic. I know it’s the pandemic causing this downswing, but I don’t know how to shake myself out of this rut.

Yes, I have a portfolio if anyone is hiring for a Jr CW position.

New fish looking for career guidance. I'm a corporate recruiter with 3 years of experience. Finishing my degree in HRM 5/2022. I'm thinking of getting my SHRM -CP shortly after graduation. I'm not sure of where to go after that, but I doubt I will stick with recruiting or my current firm. Has anyone here started off in recruiting and branched out to other HR functions? Do you like your new role? Do you wish you stuck with recruiting?
