New to consulting and the big 4 - have been extended on the same project since joining. The project does not align to the skills or experience I was hired for and has been extremely challenging due to the lack of project organization and proper staffing. Lazy Sunday evening and finished watching Abhimaan movie. Just here to say it is a real gem even after so many years. The songs and singers are excellent, acting is very good and the direction is superlative. Watching it now, I can appreciate the song “ab to hai tumse” and the associated direction of Hrishikesh Mukherjee. International vs. PCS internal and Exit Opportunities. — I’m a S2 in ATL working in PCS and in international/crossborder for private clients. I need some guidance determining whether I would be better off staying in PCS or declaring a specialty in int’l/crossborder work. I don’t see myself in B4 forever, and it seems the int’l work would limit exit opps in the future. However, PCS exit opps aren’t appealing to me either: family office or wealth management. — any help or insight is appreciated.

Struggling to determine which firms can help with PM roles AND I'm struggling to get the ones I do find to respond to me. It may have something to do where I'm at in my career - 15+ years of PM experience & director-level roles at my last 2 companies - so more exec level but not quite C-Suite. Have tons of one-off recruiters hitting me up on LinkedIn about contract PM roles but that's not what I want.

What are your client follow-up/communication policies or practices? I’m hearing more and more that clients don’t like the long periods of time with little to no contact. From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.

To those of you resistant to family cars - I’m a sports car driving, fast car loving, low to the ground kind of mom-to-be. (e.g. no back seat, no back doors). Obvi I need to get a new car but what isn’t too large, makes sense for a 3 person family (no more kids coming), while not sacrificing my need for speed and desire for a smaller/low to the ground/well handling ride? So far considering an S4 /S5, 3 or 4 series. Back doors seems to be a requirement for getting in and out of a car seat huh!🙄
