Google flights is pretty good at searching. Just be aware it’s easier to move dates for cheaper flights so be flexible.

If you go to the Southwest website, you can search for the low fare calendar. Enter the departing and arriving airports and it will show you the lowest available price for those days.
I’ve always been told that if you use a VPN, and choose a location outside of US, you’ll get better prices on domestic flights, regardless of platform used. Never tested it, though

Typically finding low fares requires flexibility on travel dates and season; a Tuesday in February is inevitably cheaper than Sunday on Thanksgiving weekend, all other things being equal. Since you’re set on a fixed date when you have to be there, you have fewer levers at your disposal. As someone suggested, Hopper is helpful but even their algorithms are now wonky given pandemic-related noise in the data.
