Hi fishes, My cousin is having 6 years experience in spring boot micro services. He got offer from Tcs for 16LPA and 18 from Comcast. He is assigned to AWS business unit in TCS. He tried asking the hr for matching thes same package 18LPA as Comcast but the hr told not possible to revise the package. Any inputs on AWS business unit and onsite opportunities in the AWS business unit. Tata Consultancy , Tata Consultancy

Yes, many people have taken leave to take care for a loved one. Please take leave when you need to, no job is really worth not taking the leave!
@d2 my heart is in a million pieces. My mom was diagnosed last night.
Thank you all. Mom had surgery on the 24th and is recuperating. The prognosis "is not good" but I am holding on to my faith. It is really is all I can do. I am praying the Lord has mercy on me, shows kindness to my kids and let's them have their grandma for many years to come and that He uses His healing power on her. Please say a prayer for her. Thank you all.
I took care of my mom while she was dying of cancer, but I was technically between jobs at the moment
So sorry to hear that. I recently lost my Mother, unexpectedly. My heart goes out to you.
Spend every moment you can, and do not worry about work. FMLA will allow you too, and see if your firm participates in leave sharing for qualified events, and use it. Spend time that you need with your family, they are what really matters in life.
Deloitte has the extended leave program that they just announced this year. You just have to get the right approvals and you can take paid leave for...what is it, 16 weeks? To take care of a loved obe
Finding out my mom had end stage cancer was the worst ducking day of my life, even worse than when she died. Op my heart goes out to you, this is so tough. Take what leave is provided, everyone will be supportive. I know it's hard but work isn't that important in the end.
OP - Im so sorry to hear that. Many firms offer 8 weeks paid time-off to take care of a terminally ill family member. I would contact HR and see how to begin the process. Family is always more important than a job, which will always be there
Yes, I did. FMLA.
OP- prayed for you and your mom at Midnight Mass tonight. ❤️💚❤️💚
I did. Took a 4 month sabbatical (call it what you want) to care for my terminally Ill dad and spent some time with my mom sorting out the finances after he passed. Best decision I ever made.
Op- my burner is obags2016@gmail.com if you want chat. So so sorry to hear the news. Big hug.
OP take leave, spend time with family and most important be the positive force. Love, care and smile here and there sometime have more positive effect than even medicines
