Content Experience Manager at Accenture Interactive

The former sounds exactly like what I do now at an ad agency but on the in house agency team with Accenture being the “client”. Lots of execution work. The latter is more about answering RFPs for existing clients and developing some strategy and like 30% execution. I’m leaning toward the CEM role.

Hi lady fishies! I joined a new agency this year and am on 2 big accounts - one has more men (including strat leadership) and the other has more gender mix (strat leader is a woman). Not surprisingly, I’m struggling to feel respected & smart on the male-dominant one. The other? Praise from my team & the client and recognition of my efforts & smarts. I am from IT industry, joined Consulting 2 months ago. What surprised me most is lot of people in consulting are so self centered.

As long as they are looked good in front of partners/clients, sacrificing co-workers is ok.

Teams are fighting to get higher portion of a billable project. A team assigned for PMO allocates more people than necessary, acting like they know everything about tech and can do everything by their own, just to get more people on billable.
