Skill Interview at Accenture placed me in L6. Did some research and going to ask for $200k base, 20% bonus 20% sign-on bonus. Glassdoor has average at 203k base(1552 salaries). For a Workday Data Conversion Lead Role, I have 6 YOE in Workday, 16 YOE in ERP Implementations. Is this fine or over/under? Currently 180k, 20% Bonus, $5k annual bonus. Workday Dat Conversion Manager/Architect. Work/life is out of balance at current employer. I appreciate feedback.
Dude just because we work long hours doesn't mean other people are immune to unforeseen circumstances, perhaps you are the one who should 'have respect'.
^Did you use Google translate or something?
Not everyone outside of finance has a 9-5, and I know lots of people taking classes or otherwise have outside of work commitments that take up the time. If this person really did bail on you for a shitty reason, shame on them, but you framing the issue as "everyone outside of finance has more time than me to bend to my schedule" is short-sighted at best and blatantly incorrect and self-centered at worst.
A little aggressive, but 💯
@OP with all due respect, if your friends are cancelling on you without 'good' reason, it might be because of your entitled attitude. A person could work one or one hundred hours a week but it only takes that one evening where you had plans for something of theirs to fall through. It's possible to cancel a plan and still respect a person- but tbh if any of my friends were the kind to whine about 'respect' in a way that indicated that they thought their time was in any way more sacred than mine I'd care a bit less about hanging out.
Wake up, forget about respect. you decided to make all the effort to see her and she didn't already showed the balance of whatever relationship you have between you. Save your over confidence at home. Just 'work in finance' is not different to 'work 2 shifts in supermarket', where is the proud from?
@Barclays1 sorry, I should have been a bit clearer. If I work 100+ hours a week and am able to set aside 2 hours to see someone, I think they should respect that. I'm sure non finance people have other shit that comes up but having different non finance people flake gets frustrating...
I used to work in consulting. My hours were worse then.
