What happens to the medical insurance after we leave the company?

I’m on the fence to get my baby boy circumcised. Other than religious and cultural reasons, what made you go for it. Is it for hygiene or just a preference?

What kind of benefits does your company? How many weeks of vacation did you start at? Sick time ?

Odd question, but I’m starting a new job in a few days. Am I able to use the private medical insurance at my new company straight away? Or do I have to wait for probation period to finish?

Firms that are forcing associates back to the office should give billable hour credit to those who get sick until they recover.

I believe people should get vaccinated when they can and if they are able to. I also think it’s wrong for governments to mandate vaccination. Doing so severely infringes on individual freedom and sets a bad precedent for the future.

I am currently working as a program financial analyst in a government contracting company and wanting to pivot my career more towards human capital and org development. Are there any lawyers in here that DON’T have the flexibility to run to a doctor appointment during the day or meet a contractor without taking a PTO day? Or WFH if kid is sick? I’m job hunting and wonder whether this is something I even need to mention it in negotiating offers, as it seems commonplace. (Recognize that staff people in this bowl (assistants/paralegals) may have different requirements.)

Who hates the canadian medical system? Just to see an emergency doctor takes hours. I rather pay and get out than to fight my pain in the waiting room

I am responding to the teacher who has had to take so many sick days! I am right there with you! The stress I'm experiencing at school is extremely unhealthy! I am increasingly realizing incorporating students, especially, some sped students I work with into an institutionalized setting with petty almost laughable rules and regulations, I'm the wrong match. Im wanting to advance to a lead or supervisor position but I keep getting turned down because I don't have enough supervisory experience. I have 5+ years of experience in medical coding, 3 in medical records and 10 in accounting. I've worked mostly in smaller facilities where I've taken on a lot of roles under one title.
