Is it worth leaving your current job at a small firm for an internship at Big 4 based on the fact that you would potentially get a full time offer?

Not sure if this has been a discussion topic recently, but do all the b4 experienced folks agree that the short staffing at the big4 has exponentially increased in the last few years and progressively getting worse? It seems like the newer generation (who are now graduating college or in early senior years) is rejecting the public accounting lifestyle. Industry jobs so plenty nowadays never seen before. Where do you see this trend headed and the situation of the big4 firms in 5-10 years?

Just a general question why does Slalom dislike the big 4 and McKinsey so much. They aren’t even in the same league!
