Hi, My joining is on 12th December. When can I expect Onboarding details mail and stuff?
I have been told that it arrives two days before joining.
I have to relocate to join and have been told by the team that travel desk will contact and arrange for that.
Kindly provide info on this.
Thanks in advance!

😳🤯 I’m so broke on points
What are some of the ways for using Amex points?
The St Regis NYC is easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It’s not a crazy sleek modern hotel, it’s just pure old school luxury. Rooms are huge for New York. Butler service. Had an awesome experience. You can cover 2 nights with the points you have. Don’t know what the third night will run you, but I’d look into it.
Yea...that’s tough to swallow. I loved the experience, but it was also for my first anniversary as a treat to us, so I was willing to use a ton of points. Ultimately, probably agree with others on valuing other things than the hotel itself.
One option would be to find a category 5 or 6, which would be doable with your 150K balance. The W Downtown is pretty nice and only 50K a night. (Of course W hotels aren’t for everyone, but I like them a lot!) The hotel can retail for $500+ so could be a good value depending on the night!
They’re known for being funky, hip and more party-focused with “living rooms” instead of lobbies that turn into night club of sorts after 8, they are intentionally a bit edgy, and definitely millennial focused. My fiancé and I love them but they’re not for everyone
The Chatwal but I’m a sucker for Marriott Luxury Collection
New York is typically not great redemption value for points. But echo Chatwal as one of the best in NYC.
This looks amazing but 550 for the third night and 85k points per night.

Honestly, it’s New York City. You aren’t going to be spending much time at hotel, at least if you are doing it right. Would much rather spend money at rooftop bars, broad way plays, museums etc
That's what I'm starting to think. There are amazing hotels but I'd destroy my points in 2 nights then pay 500+ for the extra night. Was considering the intercontinental and paying for the third night
Intercontinental. You could buy the intercontinental ambassador status for 40k points and get a free weekend night to use there. Worth about $300 for the free night but have to wait a few weeks for the voucher
It comes with platinum IHG status
