Has anyone moved jobs while pregnant? At what point did you bring up your pregnancy?

I love my kid so much. He was with me throughout all of elementary but has been at the middle school for the past 3 years. He had only a handful of kids he knew from our elementary. He made all of his new friends on his own. I have been meeting them one by one and am sooooo impressed with their character, manners, interests, and grades. He chose his friends wisely! Anyone else experience this?

Just curious a district in my area is having him speak at a virtual meeting coming up on ways to improve D and F grades.He has a sketchy past from being in jail for embezzling money for an organization and years ago he was accused of molesting a coworkers child then several years go by and he was acquitted. I might try to get pregnant next year. I’d like to get some genetic testing done beforehand to see if baby will be prone to certain conditions/illnesses. I am not aware of anything wrong with my or my husband’s family history but it will give me peace of mind.

PSA: Your pregnant coworker is juggling fatigue, nausea, aches and pains and/or “pregnancy brain”, along with their workload in a pandemic. So I just found out I’m pregnant and yesterday was my last day at my old agency. I’m starting at a new agency in a week. Talk about timing! At this point we’re not planning on telling anyone until 13 week mark. Not sure what I should tell my new job. Now I’m concerned I may not be eligible for maternity benefits since it won’t be a year when this baby comes. My head is reeling.

I’m a FTM returning to work in mid-August since being on maternity leave since the end of February. I can’t wait to go back to work (I have mom guilt about daycare but that’s another story). I’m going back to my project which was was very demanding/stressful so I’m having a little anxiety about returning to that specific project. I would love any tips/advice for setting boundaries and being able to balance work with parenting. I’ve already blocked off my calendar for daycare dropoff & pickups.

Hi friends, I joined CG in Dec as senior consultant (C1) in gcp devops with 22 LPA(20 +2 Variable) for 7.5 years experience. but i also have offer with IBM for 18 LPA. i have 1 year old baby so im thinking IBM might be better choice for WLB and WFH for future also.

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. So, a spot I made (concept to completion) got shelved due to COVID forcing the client’s marketing plan to change. During that time, my partner and I were laid off. Recently, the spot aired, but the agency credits a different team for the work – me, my parter, and my CDs aren’t listed. Do I ask the agency to correct it? Just throw it in my book with explanation? I been at my job for three year now, for a while now I been applying for other positions within my job because I want to leave my department. I don’t feel value and appreciated.
