CISSP CPE question: Does anyone know if a Udemy AWS cloud practitioner certification course can be leveraged for Group A CPE credits on ISC2? Udemy provides a certificate with hour totals, but I didn’t know if ISC2 frowns upon these courses.
Best books about product management for a good exit to industry? I already have an MBA and PMP but looking for a refreshed perspective since it’s been years since my formal education. Hi team, I did my mba in 2019 Was in an IT Company in presales profile and now joining KPMG finance transformation roles. Designation - associate consultant. Joining in September end. Is there any chance I can make for promotion by next yr to consultant. The associate consultant designation will put me behind 2019 batch mates (at par with 2020 batch) . I already have 2.5 yrs post mba work ex. Do let me know. Want to understand if i am making the right offer or should I reject it.
1) was last year the most competitive mba app year on record? 2) will this year be tougher/easier?
How much work is a manager supposed to do if they’re allocated 50% on the project? I feel like I’m doing their job and mine.
I’m new to consulting. Spent my entire career in industry where I worked on a closely knit team. My work style is to befriend my coworkers not only because I like to work with my friends, but also so I don’t feel bad when I call them on their sh** for not pulling their weight. I am the fulcrum and counterweight combined. I now find myself being taken advantage of and am too uncomfortable to confront slackers on an 18mo project. How do I find balance?
MBA applicants: if you’re in consulting and don’t have a typical “boss” who did you have write your letter from a direct supervisor? Does a counselor/coach count?

I’m a national buyer (linear tv and digital video). I’d like to move client side or to a consulting firm (because it seems most clients use consultants to manage buying rather than doing it in house). In terms of going client side - I’m finding that most clients want people with digital or as opps experience and my video expertise is obsolete, anyone know of clients that look for video expertise? In terms of consulting - Which companies have people liked working with regarding buying matters?
Typical Deloitte salary with MBA from a top 5 school? And how do signing bonuses work here, are they paid out immediately?
Is implementation work so different from strat? I worked in multiple projects where the client was ex-MBB and they had no clue on how the implementation works.
I’ve been negotiating a settlement on behalf of a client. OP is a major corp. we’ve gone back and forth for months, almost a year. Finally came to a final agreement and we’re reviewing for final signature. Then client is reviewing and decides they want something else modified. It’s a point of contention. OP has said no. Should I communicate this to client before pushing back against OP’s rejection of the mod?

Hey guys, got an offer from a niche consulting firm with a great reputation. Their pay is lower in comparison to market but is currently higher than mine. Would it be appropriate to ask them for future Green Card sponsorship / include it as part of the offer letter (obviously, upon meeting satisfaction requirements). Need your advice on negotiating here. BTW, I’m from the UK.
