As many of us are experiencing, I’ve been quite depressed. The smallest tasks drain all my energy (I don’t feel very productive) and it feels like there’s a constant anvil on my chest. I want to ask some questions to stop my spiraling: 1) what coping mechanisms do you use to deal with depression? 2) what are your firms’ mental health resources? 3) do you have someone you confide in at work? Who and how do you position it? I feel lost
Have cried multiple times this weekend about the week ahead and literally curled into a ball on the floor today and cried about tomorrow being Monday. Have been working 17-18 hour days on my current project and I can barely get through the days. I feel like death most days just due to sleep deprivation. Really want to start practicing living in the present and not thinking about future tasks to do/hours but it's hard. Any other advice to get through the days?
