Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

I always thought I’d be going back “next year”.... 20 years later I’m still here and our combined 401k has ballooned to slightly over $1MM. The US equity markets are the greatest wealth creator.

You should max out your 401k irrespective of whether you’re going back or not. It’s not like your money is locked up - you will just pay the taxes upon withdrawal. You’re leaving serious money on the table considering your investment is growing with pre tax dollars and your company match if any. Don’t understand why this is even a question in your mind. You could also just leave it here and let it ride till you retire. The rs will probably be at 150 to $ at that point and you will be maha crorepati 😁

Whatever amount that your company match, that’s 100% return to your money. That’s the least you have to invest in 401K without a doubt. Next, it’s upto you if you want to keep that additional money in 401K or ROTH IRA

Doesn’t it make sense to be on the safer side and save if you’re not sure ?
Agreed, it’s just the part of maybe next biweekly is my last tenure here thought that makes me stop
Why not? I use my HSA as an investment account - it is money you’re leaving on the table
Not really leaving money in the table outside of saving taxes. My employer won’t contribute to all insurance plans (including the one I hold!)
