What was the reason for miscarriage?
First u need to focus on mental as well as physical health. Once u r mentally prepared for baby u can start prenatals vitamins for 2-3 months to store the nutrients required for good egg quality and then can try.

Tbh tell your relatives that continuous followups won't make you pop kids. And they are the main reason you are so stressed. Let them shut up first. Then think calmly, if you wants kids or not. Having kids in today's world is not as great as it used to be. Extreme pressure, competition, lesser jobs, family drama, pollution, food laced with pesticides, cheating spouses, etc. The list goes on. Also, high probability of genetic disorder in later pregnancies are a big possibility. Please don't fall under pressure to have kids. It should a woman's personal choice as after popping the kid, the same relatives and friends (also the husband) will never provide you with a helping hand also. You will end up more stressed than ever before. Also, the same kids when they grow up, will very conveniently leave you and move to another country for higher studies or jobs, so don't think they will help you when you grow old. These are all lies that are fed to women.

Why should the expectation be even that kids would help parents for old age?
Kids should be had for ones own happiness and to take care of them not vice versa being one of the main reasons.
Not saying the kids will not have a feeling of taking care of the their parents, but the parents especially should not have such expectations which burden the kid.
Let the kid do what they want to do if that's going to foreign for studies.

What are some really good and budget friendly restaurants in Portland. My family really likes Khao Man Ghai and Marukin ramen and have been frequenting these two places way too often. They are unique, delicious, reasonably healthy and have kid friendly options. Any other suggestions?

Been w/ my bf 5.5 yrs, but I keep wondering when he's going to "get it together". He's been fired from 2 manager jobs in less than a year, one because he was caught doing coke there (off-duty). Now he's bartending under the table. I have huge concerns that he has serious drug/alcohol problems but it also just boils down to, does he want to improve? He's the kindest, sweetest person and we really love each other. But at some point I need my partner in his mid-30s to have a savings account 🤷‍♀️

Graduating from part-time MBA in May, have been working as a product manager in tech for 2 years and prior to that 5 years in BI/data analytics. I’m at a new company now and I’m disliking PM more every day. I’m thinking about doing JIT recruiting for investment banking to get strategic finance jobs in tech in 1-2 years but we’re having a baby in August. Is it stupid to try to pull off a pivot like that? My wife and I are trying to have our first baby. She is ovulating this week. We’ve done it twice since she started ovulating this week. Night before last she wanted to and I said I wasn’t up for it. And she said okay. She wanted to again last night and I said I wasn’t up for it. She got really upset and after a long conversation happened, we left it at: “Wife ovulating>whether or not either one of us wants to have sex”. Is this normal?

Suppose you are 3 months pregnant and interviewing for a job. Would you disclose to the recruiter that you are expecting or is there no need to give that information until after being hired? As for the compensation, if you’ve already been told pre-interview, the salary range for the role, is it appropriate to negotiate a number for the salary if you are asked your desired salary in the first screening interview? Or should you try to hold off on the negotiation after you receive an offer?

Here's an excerpt from today's Chicago Tribune: "State officials ...reported 625 new known <COVID> cases, which pushes the statewide total to 129,837."
So this number of cases - 129, 837 - that's cumulative, right? Meaning, as more cases are identified, their numbers are added to the total. But wouldn't some people recover by now, which would mean that there are significantly fewer than 130K sick people in the state?

I’m feeling down. 😢 After 3 failed IVFs with the last one ending in a chemical pregnancy I sought the opinion of a second fertility doctor. She said given my age of 45, my husband and I had the same chances of getting pregnant with another round of IVF with my own eggs as I would naturally and wouldn’t move forward with IVF, only with egg donor. My AMH is 2.6 and FSH was 7.4 just this past month. Should I ignore her and seek a third opinion? Not quite ready to go down the egg donor route yet.

I was on an initial phone interview this week with a recruiter and he asked me my home situation in regards to being married and kids. Is this legal?

Ladies, I commend all of you who are pregnant and lawyering on the daily! I am 10 weeks pregnant and haven’t been working much since I left my firm in March. I tell my husband every day “IDK how anyone is pregnant and practicing law at the same time.” After a morning in court last month I was totally out of commission for the day. If you are still working as a lawyer full time and growing a human it is something to be proud of!

Waiting to give notice to my firm (waiting for paperwork etc to clear at new place) and the motivation is gone. Feel like my work is slipping slightly but for my mental health I don’t want to stress myself out over things I know I won’t have to deal with anymore in a couple weeks. But also my work might be slipping because this current place is just chaos normally.. which is one reason I’m leaving. Tips for the last few weeks?

Filed a complaint in early May, they filed a motion to dismiss timely, and I responded in a timely fashion as well. During my research on the motion to dismiss I realize that I had cited a section of the statute that I now feel applies less than a different section.

What is my duty to the court? I do feel that both sections of the statute can likely apply, and admittedly the section that applies better I feel has a lower burden of proof.

Can I file a motion for leave to amend post response?
