Employee stock purchase plans. My employer has an ESPP that allows me to buy stock at 5% discount on the last day of each month. There are no fees for purchasing the stock or reinvesting dividends. There is a $15-30 fee to sell depending on the type of sales order. Is it worth it to contribute and sell once or twice a year to take advantage of the 5% “free money” while also avoiding the risk of putting too much money in my employer? It’s a pretty stable utility if that matters.

I work in an org where am not valued. I have been there for a couple of years. I bring good exp and qualification on board, but my experience in this org has smeared my self esteem and has discouraged me from putting in my all. I am traumatized from this exp and I have lost confidence in myself. I sometimes remember how I have been treated or spoken to and I literally tremble. Other things I do outside of my org are top notch and I get compliments. I need advice on rebranding or moving forward.

The case interviews I am used to are when I was given a problem statement before hand and I had to come up with the presentation. This is a bit different .

I have an offer to join a Tier 2 consulting firm next year (entry level). However, it seems like they have over-hired and they are now pushing the start date back by a few months.
