Current CTC - 49LPA (Onsite salary)
Capgemini - 32LPA with C2 band
Arete - HR discussion pending (I was really happy with people how they dealt with interview process)

Buddy do not worry about package at all. Trust me, if you are earning less your chances of cracking interviews and getting offers are very high. I was in 4.5 lpa with 6 yoe till 2018. Now I'm with 44 lpa but trust me I had enjoyed my life when it was 4.5 lpa. More salary comes with more responsibilities and immense pressure.
Have some holiday trips with friends or your gf(if you have ;), meet your dearest people. Trust me you are in safe position now and stay happy bro.

I was earning 2.88 lpa with 5 yoe till 2021 feeling same, I had liabilities of 7 lac built up. Due to such sub low income and only earning member. I'm not kind of guy who eat out money of others I had to pay my all liabilities. Water was flowing above my neck. I kicked myself on the butt otherwise someone else would had done it and came out my comfertzone. And hustled , upgraded , studied , researhed a lot. I failed countless times. Starting 6 months I did not get proper switch or good package. I kept going. Then every thing seems to be visible every pattern and interview seems identical. I kept pushing I gave 2-3 interviews in a day for month. Took multiple offers. now I'm earning 9x.
I'm satisfied now I'm not comparing it's enough as per market and society and my expenses. When time will come I'll hustle again. But fruit of hustling is sweetest than being depressed and cursing self and doing nothing.
So fault is in your confidence and willness to achieve , if you gotta get something go out and grab it , upgrade , practice , be best, find mentors.
You have working body. Even handicaps are going to mount Everest. People with nothing in life have achieved heights. You are born in new age , you have all resources available online here and their. Only one person is stopping you from doing better is yourself bro. Be a Man

One of the reasons for people not feeling good is B12 deficiency... Maybe you wanna get that and other health parameters checked.

Buddy, don't worry. Just start doing thing and take a break from worrying and may be over thinking. Remember, you atleast have a job, be really happy and thankful for that especially in these tough times. As a start, try to surround yourself with people, go network, pick up a hobbie, keep your mind engaged, learn something. For me personally, during my depression, picking up a new hobby helped and did wonders :).

First off get off of the comparison cycle. Problem with IT world is that unlike govt,PSU jobs. Be grateful for what you've achieved, from your background,education, where you could've slipped but you're in a position to do better. How many of the IT folks know about fishbowl? You're better off in knowledge as well. Do NOT try to compete with product, start-up salaries with services these are different players. So have your targets in your own space and define your happiness goals NOT so called success goals of societal norms. All those are vanity metrics. Let us know your CTC, yoe. You're better off am certain!

Even salaries at FAANG or MAANG is a myth now a days.. No companies are ready to pay good salary as they were paying during COVID..game is in HR's hand now.. 😬
I have 12 YOE, and my CTC is less than many PPL with 7-8 YOE..
I also go through anxiety and depression when I look around PPL doing way better than me. I had consulted a Psychologist thinking it was just the salary that was making me feel this way. Turns out I have my own demons to fight, rather than see around n feel bad about myself.
Sometimes, we need professional help to go past a bad phase of our life.. there is no shame in seeking help.
Do u leave in Mumbai ? If yes then 1 day visit KEM hospital, Parel. You would see so many helpless patients in very bad condition....at that time you would realize how happy you are and how God has given so much that you are not in that state...dont look at green grass other side...
Ok that was quite harsh. Op could do well with a pat on the back maybe 🙂 but I agree. There'll always be someone who is struggling more than we are. So you could positively look forward to tomorrow.
When we thought of wellness, its just not Financial. Physical and Mental wellness matters a lot. I was there for quite some time. This is what I do to get better..
For physical wellness - Indulge in activities - morning walks, Gym, yoga, cycling or any sport. Just get Outta bed and kick hard. It helps relieve stress, overthinking. One cannot enjoy wealth or pleasure without a healthy Body. It always comes first..
Mental wellness - Man is a social being, you cannot survive without indulgence. Spend more time with Kids(if you have them) or socialize, meet friends, pursue good thoughts, read books, meditate. It help you focus on what is necessary. Just worrying about things won't change a thing. Unless you can see clearly, the source of problem and the viable solutions. And that happens when you have a sound and healthy Mind.. Inner peace
Financial wellness - More is Less!. No matter how much you earn, if you keep comparing to others life, you won't ever be Happy. If you are meeting your basic needs at hour, you are doing better than 70% of people in this country. Remember the life you are living, is always someone's dream..
That doesn't mean, you shouldn't progress. Have clear, realistic financial goals... To make your future financially safe - Invest and Upskill. Invest wisely and save money for future. Little savings, pays big dividends in future.
Most importantly, invest your time in upskilling. Keep yourself upto date in Technology or the domain knowledge of your work... If you don't upgrade your knowledge, it would become obsolete in some years... Keep learning new things..
So many positive comments to boost the mind and motivation of that person. I really appreciate every one here. Buddy, consider these points and start working on it. "The change starts from you."
Step 1: Go to gym/run/cycling. Let serotonin do its job. Make sure you are hitting daily nutrition requirement.
Step 2: Deactivate all social media for next 4-5 months so that you will stop comparing yourself with others.
Step 3: Maintain a daily journal and at the end of the day just write down whatever is going in your mind. It will help you declutter your mind, reduce your stress and anxiety. Write down your weekly, monthly, annual goals.
Reflect and retrospect that on a weekly basis so that you keep a track of your goals.
Step 4: Focus on your job, upskill and switch.
Step 5: Repeat and see yourself getting transformed.
First of all buddy, stop comparison. Just check if you are able to afford what you wish, otherwise there is no limit. If you always see I have less than someone you will be always unhappy, so stop immediately this comparison. Make your distance from people who show off there package and salary because if it's true or not, only they know. I was earning 27500/month when I started my carreer and I was so happy. After all my needs I was able to save, invest. Few of my bat ates switched job after 1-2 year and they got good hike but I remain in same org because I was enjoying other perks. Now they have switched 8-9 org in 15 yeras and for me it's just 3rd. But I have enjoyed my wlb, my family time, my me time. I have time to enjoy the money I earned. So be happy with what you have. You can always try for more but dont loose your peace to get that.
Make your priorities right. Don't ever compare with others as every time you look around someone will have a higher or lower salary than yours. If your salary fulfills your needs then be happy and enjoy. Try to improvise. Try to learn. Make a goal for yourself not by comparing others but just looking at what you want in life.

Feeling grace and gratitude is how i overcome my anxiety. Always see what you got what's yours will not pass until you experience it. Everything shall come to pass pain pleasure happiness sadness everything you can name. All the best you'll get over
I am going through the same situation so you are not alone, in my case I started working 10 years ago , we have to stop comparing to preserve our mental peace , along with try to change your skillset , I started learning python recently,it leaves less time to think when you are involved.
I was just like this in my past, but you can overcome it surely!
Focus more on your personal life too
Spend more time with your family
Do regular workout
Do your hobby at least twice a week
Have meditation - this will surely help !
Have good diet
