Will you have this oppty again? Do you even want to be an EM and do EM work, or just want to get the promotion? Does DIS have better WLB in return for lower TC?

Let us know what you ultimately decide!
Disney tends to downlevel in exits from what I’ve read. You’ll be working with a lot of smart people, which means the growth trajectory will likely be slow.
Unless it’s on the Disney + sides of things I wouldn’t even consider honestly
Not in their media side. Parks and experiences. But absolutely with you on the media side
For anyone still following, I’m taking the job :). Can live with a pay cut and if I hate it, can always come back to McK. The group is high visibility so isn’t a downgrade on the resume at all (esp. since I want to be in the entertainment space)
Hey! I see this was a year ago. I have applied to a couple Sr Analyst roles within DPEP, and wanted to see your opinion on the role. Was it a good move one year in?
OP - what's the comp they are offering to you? I have just started the interview process for an associate role in the Corp strat team at disney

Haha makes sense I guess since Disney is such a cool company to work for. But you could probably fetch $175-200 in other industries…would take a lot for me to go down that much.

I would make EM and try for a Director exit. Otherwise why did you spend all that time grinding.
*at anywhere close to Mck EM level
