Is this advisory or consulting? This offer is good Advisory but bad for the Consulting arm. Go to Accenture Federal, they’ll bring you in at ~100 with 4 years experience. You’ll have to negotiate a bit, they’ll do it.
I think folks are missing the part about Federal. Federal consultants (pre-mba) at Deloitte max out around 92k so your offer isn’t off base. Many consultants get brought in around 90 in federal with non MBA masters as well.
Very close to the offer I received about 5 years ago, although I did not receive a signing bonus
Pay in Deloitte Federal is far too low in my opinion, particularly when cost of living is taken into account. As other's have commented, competitors pay far better.
Honestly, you’re worth 105...tell the recruiter your speaking with other companies and the salary ranges are closer to 105. Can you guys come up on the base?

Seems on par for federal

Hell no. Ask for 105k for AIM practice in Deloitte consulting.

What are you at now and are you in PI?
Yea the pay sucks. Working 40hrs a week isn’t bad though
D2, true, as with all things, there are pros and there are cons.
EM1. Are you saying you made it from C to Director in 5 years?
D3, I don't see where I indicated anything like such.
EM1 What are the levels at your firm? Where does your level fit compared to Deloitte?
someone who gets paid a lot to do a lot
D3, I follow you now, my level is akin to a Manager at Deloitte.
My firm is weird with titles, I have two, am also an AVP.
Del2, u can work 40 hr weeks in industry and make way more.
Late response, but I never experienced those 40 hour weeks.
Sure, I billed 40, but work demanded 50-60. Those hours do not account for the internal/sells work which was easily another 2-10 hours.
