Looking for hope & exceptions with this situation my inlaw (German citizen) is in. They came over on Fulbright and now is on O1 but in exile back in Germany. I know it’s a long shot but has anyone been in this situation and transitioned to permanent US residency? They are married to a US citizen and have a kid (born in US). Immigration attorneys are not super helpful on precedent.

Hey everyone, so I have 5yrs background in global supply chain, but about 1.5yrs ago I decided to switch it up a bit and take a data analytics manager role with the global merchandising dept. Iv decided that I want to pursue a Product Management role as my career since it seems like I fit a lot of the major requirements. The problem is my resume doesn’t specifically say I have Product Management experience but I really want to make this move with a tech company. Any tips? Maybe a PM certif.?

How does this Amazon offer look for an L5 non-tech PM role in Seattle? I’m coming in with 2 YOE as a startup PM. No MBA.

$130K base, 20 RSUs, $45K sign on over 2 years ($25/20). 1st year TC $160K.

Sorry for the long rant, but could use advice or just encouragement.

Got laid off for the first time in my career 3 weeks ago. I have 10 years of PM experience (mostly ecommerce & experimentation). I was fortunate in the past to have had recruiters scout me directly so this is the first time in over a decade that I am applying to everything that I’m qualified for, mostly qualified for, and way over qualified for with zero leads. Only 3 interviews thus far that didn’t go forward.

Been a PdM for a year, department going through a restructure and have been relegated to Product Owner and stripped of PdM duties. Trying to build myself up in the PdM space but hard to get that experience and if I try and go outside my company everyone is looking for 3-5 years experience. Anyone else experience similar set backs. Trying to stay positive.
