Anyone willing to be a refferal. Looking to join the consulting space. Credentials: 5+ years in Healthcare and revenue cycle. Masters in business analytics. SQL and python exp.
So I recently accepted a position to become director at another healthcare organization in my area. I’ve been at my current job 4 years. Any suggestions on the resignation letter? I don’t want to share too much but I report to the head of my hospital and have mixed feelings on what to share.
I love teaching art but am having to teach remotely to 1150 kids, k - 5. Have about 54 amazing elementary art teachers in my district that share SO much! I could retire (34 yrs), but just don’t want to because I love what I do! Feeling like my students aren’t getting what they should because I am struggling with Zoom, Microsoft, safe YouTube, bitmoji, embedding, downloads, editing, etc. Anyone else feeling this way?
Looking to break into the Pharma industry and eventually become a MSL. Would it look favorably to keep my per-diem pharmacist job at a cancer clinic and get a full time role as a sales rep?
Is there anything you could forsee going wrong/is there a conflict of interest?
Should I quit the clinic role and go sales only? Looking to stay in sales 1-2 yrs before applying to MSL roles both internally and externally.

Potential offers incoming from Gartner (AE), Salesforce (BDR), and a promising SaaS start up (BDR). Currently an AM at a IT services and staffing org. Want to get away from staffing regardless, but want to stay within technology. Unsure how to rank each opportunity.
Gartner lacks technology but I feel the skills I could learn would be invaluable and be a great resume add. Anyone ever been in the same boat? Or know how the benefits for SF and Gartner stack up?
Any recommendations for online Master in Healthcare Analytics programs? I’m 2.5 years out of undergrad and have a BS in HIM. Also would appreciate thoughts on if it’s worth pursuing.
If I have someone who is interested in early retirement at my company, outside of COBRA (which is only 18 months), what benefits are available for them. Are there Medical/prescription/dental/vision/etc. coverages individuals can opt into? What are the options? Low-high cost options please.
What's the best way to find fully remote HR positions? Ideally that still have good benefits, and salary.
I'm 33yo, 220k TC, work in US on a visa and have been investing for 1.5 yrs. I max out my 401k, invest 40% of my pay per month mostly in ETFs, and have some money in HSA. The goal is to get to 43y with 2M (and hopefully a green card from the US govt). However, the current investment levels aren't getting me there.. there's about 1M gap between where i want to be and where I realistically would be in 10y. Any ideas on how to bridge this gap other than increasing investment levels to 75+% / paych?
Anyone familiar with working for the state? I think I’d like to switch to governmental after doing research on the work, hours and benefits. Any tips from those who have made the transition or currently work in gov?

Do people really have to work late night in advertising agency? I'm new to the industry like I graduated a year ago from an average college with some high hopes to dive into a professional agency, working in an average company but thank god I got the job in this Covid crises, yet underpaid and working for atleast 12 to 13 hrs a day, and someday the working hrs surpasses, isn't there any regulatory that can help people like us for our well being? Or help us get money, in return of our health?

Public interest/legal services attorneys check in!! What’s one thing you love about your job? For me it’s the work life balance. The pay could be better but I’m 95% sure that I would not trade in the quality time I get to spend with my friends, family, and boyfriend to make more money. I’m currently planning a weekend hiking trip and a separate week long trip to Montreal with my bf. I love 35 hour work weeks and generous time off policies!!

I’m only a year or two into practice and am wondering if there are any tips to best position myself for this type of position? I don’t anticipate making any moves that way for at least 5 more years. No clerking experience or law review, so that’s -2 points for me
Just finished my first year in big law. In a niche practice area that could transfer well to in house position if they are looking for someone specializing in this area (many of our clients are GCs in this exact role), however I worry those jobs may not be abundant. I want to jump in 3-4 years. What can I do in the meantime to make myself look appealing as a more general GC candidate assuming my ideal job isn’t out there at that time?

Junior associate looking for advice. I was handling a small claims case pretty much on my own (partner copied on emails but didn’t really do anything). We settled the case the day before the hearing. Several weeks later, plaintiff’s lawyer sent me a release his client would sign after receipt of funds. I screwed up and agreed to this (payment before signed release) because the case had already been dismissed. Now I can’t get ahold of him to get the signed release. Am I screwed? What should I do?
Lateraled as a first year about 6 weeks ago. I’ve only been hitting a max of 30ish billable hours since orientation ended. I’m staffed on a handful of deals, but the work isn’t that heavy. Partner keeps saying there’s tons of work to go around, but none of it is flowing to me. I’m nervous about asking for more work in case the deals I’m already on pick up the next couple of weeks. Should I ask for more work? Should I be concerned about hitting the yearly billable/qualifying for year end bonus?
Does anyone feel their practice area is fun and/or exciting? I’m a commercial litigator and yes I have a wide variety of cases but it’s becoming kind of redundant. I’ve always had an interest in business, finance, investments etc. (private equity and stock market) and was wondering what practice would be best to merge the two?Any suggestions or comments on what you find to be an enjoyable practice area?
Looking for advice: I’m having an informal interview lunch tomorrow with two partners and a friend that also works for that firm. My friend told me she can guarantee they will all be in jeans and a casual shirt since it’s Friday and it would probably look weird if I wore a suit. I was all for wearing a nice shirt and jeans but now I’m overthinking it as it is still an interview— even if it is informal. Do you think I’m good with jeans or should I just put some slacks on?
What are some higher paying areas of law that would be a good transition for someone with insurance defense and mortgage litigation experience?

Anyone have any insight into how well state AG positions set you up for their federal corollaries? I am interviewing with a specialist branch of a ~more noteworthy~ states attorney general office (think securities/antitrust/consumer protection, think NY/CA). I think a big factor is how well this would set me up for SEC/FTC/CFPB etc. I might want to stay, but wondering how fed govt hiring managers might view the experience (when they often hire from biglaw). I otherwise have biglaw credentials
Any insight into MG&M? Culture, pay, hour requirements, etc. This would be the Wilmington office I am potentially applying to but curious as to what the firm is like as a whole.

When is it too soon for a first year to move firms? I’m only 6 months in at an AMLaw 200, but have an opportunity to make considerably more money ($50k+) at a larger firm. Will it look bad on me long term to jump ship so early? Not too worried about increased workload/hours as I’m already on pace for 2400.
