I hear it’s a civil atmosphere (my ex bf new gf works there she likes it) I can find out more if you want I’m sure the hours are very long though

I didn’t enjoy my experience there

I remember going to the cadwalader suite to grab some food during OCI and the associates there (who are supposedly their best and friendliest at the firm) were MISERABLE.

I know folks who left and said it was not a very collegiate atmosphere. One partner I know that transferred over to the firm was the more aggressive and loud people in the firm. Think name dropper mixed with your frat bro but make them in their 50s. Apparently they fit right in.

29M single moving to NYC from Europe. Working in Midtown. Which neighborhoods should I consider living in if I want to have an active social life, night life, and “real” NYC experience like the movies? I would also like to meet creative people that are not working in finance or consulting. European vibe not necessary, but could be cool. I thought Chelsea, SoHo, Hell’s Kitchen were a fit but I’m hearing that they’re not what they used to be anymore. All thoughts welcomed. Thank you folks.

I have a LOT of credit card debt. It has just grown over time and I can’t find my way out. I’m considering debt consolidation, specifically a company called National Debt Relief which seems legit but I’m just so hesitant because I’m scared to make my situation worse. Or a personal loan to pay off all the CC debt and then have a smaller all in one payment. I’m intelligent and I work in finance, it’s so embarrassing. HELP.

My personal trainer keeps telling me that I’m not eating enough and I should be eating 1500 calories. Prior to that I was losing weight and eating 800-1000 calories. Now that I’m slowly increasing to over 1000 calories, I’m gaining weight back and it’s stressing me out.

Anyone have success in increasing calories and still losing weight?

For context I’m 4’11”, female, I workout twice a day cardio over my lunch break (45 minutes of stairmaster or incline treadmill) and 1 hour of weight lifting

How do I determine which/when creative work I can put in my book?

I started working at my current agency about 6 months ago, and some of my creative work has finally come around to either ship or die. I've also worked on a few new business pitches - none of which we ended up securing as clients for various reasons. Is there a specific protocol I should use to decide what work I've done can be put on my public website to add to my book? Any rules of thumb or caveats I should be wary of?

Advice Needed: Last month I was laid off from work, however, since have been able to secure another position with another firm (located 90 minutes from my house in a more rural part of the state) doing real estate closings. Aside from the commute and the work (not incredibly fulfilling or challenging) the job is fine. I do consider myself incredibly fortunate to be employed during these challenging times.
Do I aggressively continue my job search or wait until the beginning of the year?
