Hey there wanted to ask your opinions. I was out of work for 5 months from May to October, when my started my new job my salary was higher due to paying less taxes throughout the year. Now with the new tax year my salary is down £700 ( paying full taxes this time).
Did anyone ever ask their employer for a reevaluation of their salary for similar reasons? In fact I don’t want an increase I just would like my salary as it was the past 6 months especially with the inflation.

Need some advice from UK Deloitte fishes: recruiter wants to place me within the OT (business ops?) team as a Manager and I'm not sure it's worthwhile because:
1) I have no plans on staying in consulting. Only joining to see what exit opps come up from having Deloitte + manager on my resume
2) Team seems to be focused on ops + implementation. I've done strategy + ops for the last few years so I don't want to completely abandon the strategy side
3) salary isn't as high as I'd like

Hi all. During a preconception appt with a reproductive endocrinologist, the doctor found that I had a small fibroid right in the middle of my uterus. Her recommendation was to get it removed because did the location / size (it 2x3 cm). That coupled with the knowledge that I do have painful periods thay last 5-7 days had her concerned that not getting it removed would cause miscarriages down the line or implantation issues.

I am currently working as a L3 HR associate partner and is looking to move into a L4 HR partner role but my manager keeps saying I should shadow someone in order to know whether the L4 role is for me. Help. I feel so depressed and unmotivated and nothing is helping to get me over this slump. I’m a consultant with 3 YoE at Accenture. I just got an offer at an amazing firm, but I am tempted to not take it and stay at Accenture because I’m so burned out and I have negotiated taking a medical leave with my team.
