I am taking another sick day this coming Monday. It's necessary for both my physical and mental health, which are severely compromised due to the stress of this insane school year (and the last one, and the spring before that -- I think this is cumulative with COVID, the political situation, etc.). I have never taken this many sick days during ANY school year in my 20+ years of teaching. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is anyone else having anxiety about taking so many days off?

Found out my brother had cancer October 30th, 2020. Bad kind. Came home in hospice, I was his caregiver. He was the person I loved most in the world, passed away in my arms 11/30. I also got referred for a job & interviewed in November 2020. Found out I got it right after he died. Started 1/4. Today marks 3 months. I'm having a breakdown. But psych said no antidepressants within 6 mo. of loss to allow for grieving. feels too early to talk to HR about a leave. Please help. What do I do?

Just took my son on a 5 day vacation. I wanted to take my son with me and my fiancé said I could have went by myself if I wanted to. My fiancé stayed home, and was off work the whole time as well. I left in a hurry, so I wasn’t able to clean up our place before leaving. But when I got home, nothing was cleaned up. My fiancé did nothing during this time. I didn’t ask him too, so now I feel like I’m overreacting because I was upset when it wasn’t clean when I walked in. 😞 am I overreacting
