Oh man….I totally screwed up docketing a filing deadline. Realized it 3 days past the due date. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Got everything filed but feel like a complete idiot & total failure at life. I’ve been doing this job for 15 years. I feel sick.

Curious if anyone is taking time off this month to see family. I'm crazy busy and it'd honestly be easier for me to wait until Christmas, but my mothers almost insisting I fly home this month. AITA for wanting to work through November and only see my family at Christmas?

Took my first vacation (1 week) in over a year to visit family. Was bombarded by emails from one partner asking me to complete non-time sensitive motions, which he hasn’t even bothered to review. This is my third firm in three years (first I left as I was severely underpaid, second I left for a 100k increase in salary), but this lack of respect for my boundaries has made me want to move again once I’ve completed 18 mos. Bad? They don’t do this to the other associates (all male).

I am a paralegal interested in making the jump from litigation to Worker's Compensation. I don't have recent experience in WC but recall it was a lot of form work. Thank you so much in advance!
