Ok. I have the sapphire reserve, but wondering do I get more with the spg in the hotel space. I also need a cash back card ... which one is the best 🐠's?

Discover it. Double cash back first year. 5% rotating categories quarterly. 1% everything else. Right now the category is restaurants

I don't know about cash back but I think the CSR is better bc you're able to transfer points to other airlines and hotels. The redemption rate through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal isn't bad either. And you can technically transfer your points to SPG through Marriott since they are partners.

like

I have the CSR and the SPG Amex, which I use solely for SPG stays. I think it's worth it to have both, although I haven't looked into the conversion rate for Chase points to SPG

like

Chase points to SPG is terrible. It's 3:1 via Marriott. If you want SPG points your best bet is to get an amex SPG account. Wait till the bonus is 30-35k as you can only get the bonus once per lifetime.

like

Amex blue cash preferred. 6% back at grocery stores, 3% back for gas and department stores, 1% everywhere else

Just found out about the Marriott and spg merge 😮

^Yes, that too lol. I meant Chase and Marriott are partners, so you can transfer Chase points to Marriott which in turns you are able to transfer to SPG

D1 but you get 3x the points if you use for travel and food which is 80% of my spending lol. I also like the convenience of being able to transfer to other airlines and hotels. I don't always stay at SPG hotels.

Get the CSR then your other chase ultimate rewards are worth 50% more when redeemed for travel. They call it the chase trifecta. Freedom 5% rotating categories becomes 7.5%. Freedom limited 1.5% on everyday spending becomes 2.25% on all purchases.

My school has been face to face for 7 weeks. The promise is that the kids on the school bus have to wear masks. One of my students recorded and uploaded a video to Youtube. In the video the kids were 3 to a seat, no masks, hopping across seats hitting each other. 😐 I had the kid take it off Youtube and sent the video to administration. What are we doing? It’s sickening.
